The November 6, 1975 is a strategy initiated by Morocco's invasion and annexation of the Sahara, a territory of Spain, to yours.
Morocco, led by King Hassan II, is mobilizing 350,000 citizens and 25,000 soldiers to join the land legally and with support from the public, taking advantage of the political crisis suffered by Spain in the final moments of the dictatorship Franco.
The Organization of the United Nations claims the right to self-determination for the Saharawi people. This also serves as a reason for the authorization, King Hassan, in a march to the northern part of Western Sahara in order to pressure the English government and to the south with some military action.
The troops remained stationed a short distance from the minefields until it produced the Madrid Accords Green March.
A week later, Spain ceded the administration of the southern third of the territory of Western Sahara to Mauritania and the northern two-thirds of Morocco, in exchange for political and economic compensation.
